Emma Michell, Chartered Accountant, Business Owner & Coach.
I trained at Ernst & Young in London and then worked for companies including Virgin Holidays and Northern Foods before setting up my own business in 2012.
I ran a hospitality business for almost a decade employing up to 20 people and catering at events including Glastonbury and V-Festival as well as running a 100 seater coastal cafe and having a baby!!
My career has given me an in-depth knowledge of the challenges that businesses face and a passion for making things as simple and effective as possible. I have a passion for business as a force for good both in the local community, wider society and in terms of the environment.
My consulting practice was born in May 2020 as I pivoted my business and my life. I now work with a handful of clients helping them to understand their business, their numbers and plan for sustainable growth.
I’m currently based in my hometown on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. I love wild swimming, running, great coffee and cafes.

Working with Me
I always start with a consultation to understand your business, personality and budget and create a bespoke service to fit. This usually includes an on-boarding plan to get your finances and systems in order, and can also cover your vision and strategy as well as governance, risk management and B-Corp Certification.
Where?
I am based in West Yorkshire and work with clients locally and nationally, in person, via phone, Zoom and email.
